Hi; I just found this forum and signed up. I've had turtles off and on since I was four, which was over 65 years ago. I live in Missouri, and currently have a Reeves female, two razorback musk females, two yellowbelly and one redbellied slider, and two almost one year old Eastern box turtles. Over the years I've had a couple kinds of softshell, a common snapper, ornate box, diamondback, numerous red-eared sliders, Mississippi map, Eastern mud, common musk, a turtle nobody ever identified, and I've probably forgotten some. I've never had a tortoise, for lack of space. I like all critters and have had all sorts, but I keep returning to turtles. Looking forward to sharing on this forum.

hi im rachel i have four turtles... two res one box turtle and one unkown one all i know is that he is a tortoise.

Hi, It is nice to hear from someone else in Missouri. I currently have 5 turtles, 2 Africian Side necks, 1 red bellied cooter, 1 cumberland slider, and 1 yellow bellied slider. I have had my turtles since they were very small. I moved them to my classroom so that my students could enjoy them and learn about them. They have been a joy to have in the classroom. I too have always enjoyed turtles, my first one was when I was 8 years old. I have been known to stop traffic, so that I can move a turtle out of the road esp. down in the Ozarks. Enjoy your turtles. What part of Missouri are you from? Rolling Eyes
