well, my turtle will eat the canned shrimp and sometimes i feed it a little turkey. along with the basic turtle food pellets.

i want it to get a whole good diet though, it doesnt really eat leaves/greens.

whats a good thing to feed that will give nutrients of greens? ive tried the ends of celerey, dark lettuce, and spinach.

i read that the younger turtles are more carnivourous (sp?)...

well suggestions? ..

I used to have that problem, until one day he MIRACULOUSLY began eating romaine Surprised

. But before that awesome moment what i would do was get snails from my backyard (pesticide free) and let them eat tons of greens. Then before it has a chance to get digested i throw them into the turtle tank.

Another thing you could do is rub some meat or fish onto some veggies just to trick it with the smell...
