I dont know if it's a painted turtle or a red eared slider?

In the first picture you can see there is no red mark on the side of its head..

this picture shows the shell detail on the botom.

looks like a western painted turtle. i believe western painted turtles have the most colorful bottom shell

hmmm... i looked up red bellied sliders and they dont look like Yurtle... i have my mind 90% on a western painted.

What you have is a yellow pond slider I have hads several that I rescued which includes the turtle i let go last year buffy trust me ^_^
