How many turtles do you have? What is the capasity??? I have 2 turtles 4-6in each and i have a 55gallon tank, and that is fine for them... so you may not need a bigger tank.

Ok than you need a bigger tank for the RES but other than that everything looks great!!

yea.... im gonna wait till he get to big for the 10 gallon and go ahead and try to get a 30 ot put him in a big rubbermaid for as long as it takes to get a bigget tank....

My turtles used to hide every time they saw me, and they wouldn't bask but at night when there is no light...

To get mine to move i had to slap something on the tank, and it would scare them.

Finally they warmed up to me and chase me all over the place LOL!

IDK about 2 weeks for 1 and 1 week for the other i guess. i guess each turtle is different.. he's a cute little turtle.

when they are outside MOST of them will look around even the shyest ones...

WOW your turt is stubbern, i'll just say give it some time... he's probly just scared still. he will come around soon enough. sorry i could have been more help i still don't know a ton about turtles! Not like Deesygirl

It's really hard to tell if they are boys or girls when they are young. but he looks like a boy, so yeah..
