heya!! im glad to say that i eventually today got my two baby turtles!! Very Happy

but im just wondering at what temperature should the water be at??i have a heater but it doesn't seem to be going on!!it is supposed to go on when the water goes below the proper temperature but it hasn't gone on once yet!! i need help please!! ps i really adore them!! they are now called Tom and Jerry!!!! Laughing

ammm im nearly sure that they are RES, oh ya and also they keep staying at the heater and sitting on it!! is this good or bad????

well, this is how ive kept mine........

-air temperatur: mid 70's - 80"s

-basking temperatur: High 80's to low 90's

Water Temperature: ~72 to 76 degrees for sub-adults & adults, 78 to 80 degrees for hatchlings & smaller juveniles
