the one with the concrete block is becoming a hassle...I think I might go back to the other one and find a way to lower the water level, any opinions?

That tank looks way to small... specially for two turtles!! They need much more room than that to live and much more water to swim in. They need about a gallon per in... double if there are two turtles... say both of your turtles are 4 in... they need to be in atleast 80 gal of water!!!!!

no to mention... the water level needs to be ATLEAST 2 inches above and 2 inches below the turtle if the turtle were standing vertically.. this way if the turtle flips it self over it can have room to flip it self back over... too little water can cause the turtle to get stuck upside down and drown.

oooh really..I've never seen them flip before but I didn't know that. I now only have one in there though...my girlfriend took bonnie for me because they did not get along, probably because of tank size. I can't afford or have enough room for a bigger tank cuz I am a college student, but I am trying to get ahold of a 29 gallon tank.

also, you need to get rid of all that gravel.. its too small for that turtle.. the turtle might try to eat it and it can cause an intestinal blockage that can kill him. Definetly take all that out. I would just leave the bottom as glass since there isnt alot of room in there anyway this will give them more room, and just use the floating dock as its basking platform. all that gravel is a hazard and its taking up room the turtle couldnt be swimming in.

ok so I am a little strapped for cash since college is starting up here soon but I felt bad for my turtle having to suffer with a small 20 long tank...yeah I went out and bought a kiddie pool for him but he can only be in that when I am home...so I got creative and this is what I came up with.
