well how old is your RES, how big is it? you must have a tank that is 10 gallons per inch of its shell.
Also, depending on how old your turtle is, it might not be a good idea to bring another turtle because if by chance they dont get along you will have to keep them seperated and that might cost you more money than you might have expected and it would not be kool to buy a turtle and then change your mind and get rid of it because you did not plan ahead you know
I have two RES and wanted to get a third one when i got them a 60 gallon because i wnated to see more action but i started reading messages on this board and heard of people doing the same and seeing that their turtles did not get along and they had to set up another seperate tank. I was not really big on that idea since they grow out of tanks quickly. _________________ **Plasmik**

get around a 30 gallon tank or go straight for a 40 gallon. _________________ Tara Dakota
