ok well around march i got some little little gupies real small and it now july, when i got them there were 8 of them now i have six.. but anyway i have them in a half filled 20 gal long tank with my 1 ybs and when i was feeding my ybs i looked down and there was a very small fish i looked around some more and there in total i counted there 5 but the fish that were spawning are only about an inch if that so i thought that was pretty amazing that they were spawning... but just wanted to tell any1 if they bought guppies alot for their turtles if they keep enough in the tank u'll get a dominant couple and soon enough u'll have new baby guppies for your turtles. Very Happy

I have the same thing happen with me feeder fish. I dont notice it until I do a water change. Laughing

guppys are fast reproducers and btw i think 3.00-4.00 is to much for 1 fish to feed ur turtle i get rosey reds and minners to feed mine

I have reg guppies fancy guppies and missiouri minnows and they all inbreed now i have big shiny fish and i think my algae fish bre w/somethin it looks like a baby catfish lolz and some of the bigger fish eat the babys so i have places for the babys to hide and some of the adults kill other adults.. etc its all a dominance thing and sometimes if im late feeding them some adults eat eachother ew... but i love em all i have around 1 mil fish and i sell them to pet shops and i named a breed i bred (so proud i got to name my own type of fishy its all 3 put 2 getha i named it after my turtles) its called a sarspikilby i put their names 2 getha kinda oddly....
