hi my name is michelle

i have 2 red ear turtles, one of the is big and the other one is small, they are both very active and healthy , i have them in a 10 gallon tank and i have a light for them ,and a water filter . but only one of my turtles grew and the other one is still small, and i wanted to know what i should do , i have had them for 8 months now, also how could u tell if they are a boy or a girl, i need somebodys help, this is my frist water turtles,

you cant really tell ther sex in till there are a little older but male mostly have very long nails and the female tend to have storter nails
