I hope the pics are okay to ID them. I have so many people telling me they are different species, now I am confused.
PS These pics were when they are younger, I have no gravel in the tank anymore. |

| Umm... I was sold as Yellow Bellied Sliders from the reptiles shop. And some people told me they are not. I checked out a few of the websites, and I got confused. Have Yellow Bellied Sliders always have the yellow bellies? |

welcome to the board ur turtles are so adorable 
I believe they are RES's (don't have the colors of painted turtles nor the bellies of a YBS). Probably it's just that they didn't grow they "red ears" yet..
cute babies but watch out for their diet, they look a bit overweight in the last pic (got fats coming out their feet holes). And one more thing, I really love the gravel u have but it's too small and the turtles might eat it so be careful about that too
