I have done much research on this topic and as far as I know there is no such thing... they have auto feaders for fish, but not turtles... this is becuase different size turtles eat different size perportions... pluss turtle food is not flakes, its an assortment of things... pellets, shrimp, veggies, and so forth... you would be depriving your turtle of nutrients if the feeder only fed your turtle a few pellets everyday for a week. With this being said... here is a simple solution... if you are gone for a week or so, go to a petstore (probably a privately owned one not a chain) and get about 10-15 feeder fish... such as feeder guppies or roasy reds. These are small fish that are healthy to turtles to feed on... when put in the tank... the turtle will be able to feed it self for the week you are gone.

Ok now the only question i have with this example you are telling them to do when they plan to be away for a week is what happens if the turtles eat all the guppies or feeder fish on the same day?

I did this a few times where i knew i was going to be away for a weekend or a week and purchased about 20 guppies and feeder fish another time and my turtles went through all the fishies before i got to leave the house.

The first time i got them fishes when they were very small, less than a year old the guppies lasted longer because they would hide between rocks and swim faster but now they seem very quick and strong and push the rocks or filter or anything that gets in their way to eat them. Is it okay if they eat all of them at once? will they be okay for the entire week?

give them something fatty so they can survive on the fat. its not healthy but it'll keep the turtle from going hungry easy. i suggest feeding it like idk it depends on how long ur staying out. since im going to Honduras idk wen its gonna b 2 weeks and i would suggest putting some fish in there so if its desperately hungry it'll have to chase its food to live you know? I left for a week over the holidays and I set up an auto feeder. It worked just fine. I don't normally feed on pellets only, but it shouldn't hurt your turtle to do it for a week. The one I have was made for flakes, but the opening is big enough for pellets. It feeds twice a day anyway, so a few at a time should be fine. I had a friend stop in and check about half way through the week, and there wasn't any problems.
