It has a green shell,yellow bottom. the female has dark green shell and the male has light green shell.Also the spot on the side of the head is red in colour.  |

My freind that sounds like no tortoise that I have ever heard of, ever! This sounds like a pair of RES (Trachemys scripta elegans). Do they have webbed feet and prone to extensive water activity? Tortoise speices are terrestrial in nature not aquatic. Be sure that you are not confusing a water creature with a land reptile. You may be depriving such of proper care and or visa versa.
