| I live on a small lake and hand feed the sunfish in the AM. Last summer a painted turtle started coming by for breakfast, and would come out of the water , right up to my hand for little pieces of meat etc. He was around for a month or so. Well, the other day I looked down and he was back and very excited to see me. He scrambled right up the rock and took a piece of turkey so I know it's the same one, after about 10 months. Anybody see this sort of thing? |

| Is this unusual or normal for a turtle to remember and return? I know nothing about them. Perhaps no one has had a similar experience? |

Lettuce has no nutritional value.
You really should try to turn the turtle loose in an appropriate area, like a pond. _________________

The YBS i rescued cus its foot was cut off after it was okd by the vet i let her go in a nearby pond close to where i found her and i come everyday to feed her i luv her so much but im glad shes happy in the wild but glad she remembers me and its tots not abnormal for a turtle to remember you if you treated him/her nicely or fed or kept healthy/saved etc. _________________
glitter-graphics.com |
