hi,

we got a res more than a yr ago we adopted him from the shelter, well about a month now we got another from the pet store and the bigger one keeps going after the smaller one at times and biting him in the water, when they are basking on the dock they dont fight the bigger one was resting his head on the smaller one the other day, well tonight we get home and i see a chunk missing from the smaller turtles shell near the edge it breaks my heart to see that. what i need to know is that am i going to have to seperate them? would they ever get along? i had a funny feeling on getting a second turtle and having them share a tank, but my boyfriend talked me into buying the little one. thanx to all who respond Crying or Very sad

They need to be separated as they will never get along.
