Currently I have a 90 gallon pond filled up about halfway for my 3 RES's home. I have a floating turtle log and the 2 plant shleves only hold about an inch deep of water. I have medium size gravel on the bottom. I do not have a heater because with it being summer time in Florida the temp stays plenty warm enough. I have a small pond light that comes on at night. During the daytime the turtles get direct sunlight through the screen.

Eventually when I save up some funds I'm going to redesign their pond so it will have a deck. Kind of hard to explain but I'll try. I want to build a box around the pond with plywood and then sorta set the pond into it so there will be a deck level with the top of the plastic part. I will build the sides so they are about a foot taller than the deck so no one can escape and will line the deck with pvc liner. I will then place soil, gravel and plants on top of the liner on the deck. I will fill the water level to the very top of the pond and provide a large log as a ramp for the turtles to exit the pond. I also plan on incorporating a heater so I don't have to bring them in for the winter. I will also be adding a gentle waterfall. I would also like to eventually add some koi fish.

what my uncle did....well he's a landscaper..... and in his back yard he had a little garden pond thingy... and my cousin wanted a turtle so they jus setup a habitat fenced in around that... and put stairs in the pond thingy (its not BIG) its about 2x the size of a laundry basketand they put it ingound and there is gupies in the water and frogs that hang around, it really cool.... the turtle really likes it.. i think they are getting another Smile

love your turtle dude, b ut do you think you could scale back your signature image? It makes it really hard to follow threads...
