Hi,
I love this site! I found it while looking for info for my sick female RES. I took her to the vet and hopefully she will be fine. I raised RES when I was a kid and when my mother bought my daughter one while we were vacationing in Florida guess who got stuck taking care of her. Any way I love her and she is a great conversation piece. I now have a male RES and they are in a tank in my foyer. I may not be able to keep the male because he beats up on my female in the spring so bad I have to separate them. She became ill from moving her back and forth. The vet said she has pneumonia and gave her an antibiotic and put her on Prednisone. Any suggestions will be appreciated. |
