| I got a 50gal. that has a Basking light, UVB light(Reptisun 10.0) and ive been doing reserch on Mississippi Map Turtles but need more info on them,like how many would I be able to put in my 50 gal.?, what food they need (supplements)?, also how much water depth do they need?...ETC...Also if anyone can post a good example set-up, thatd be awsome...THanks in advance...P.S. Also can anyone give me a good estimate on what the actual mississippi turtle cost? |

| I don't know much about keeping 2 turtles together but I would do a lot of research before getting 2. I had 2 red ear sliders (female ) together for 5 years until the larger one decided she didn't want to share her space. They were in a 65 gallon short tank and there was enough room for 2 turtles but the larger one tried to kill the smaller one. I had to separate them and the smaller turtle got a 30 gallon tank. be prepared if they do not get along. |

| Mississippi map turtles are very unagressive, because they are very shy, and since the males are smaller, they tend to get along. Im getting one and ive done TONS of research. |
