Here ya go everyone!

Pictures of my newest hatchling 3 toed box turtle.

I've had the mother "Clyde" for almost 23 years now and this is the very first hatchling I have received from her!

I didn't have a mate for her until 5 years ago, named Rudy. She mated with him on and off and laid a number of infertile eggs. So I thought she was infertile.

Then in November 2006 she laid 4 eggs. These turned white and were fertile! It's been very exciting time waiting for one of these eggs to hatch from my very first pet turtle, that I bought in 1984!

Well enough talk! Here are the pictures... be sure to let me know what you think!
I think she has an awesome shell pattern. Very Happy

Oh yeah, there's still 8 more eggs from Clyde that I'm waiting for to hatch. These were laid at different times, so some will hatch in a week, next month, and in April or May!

Congrats on your new baby turt. How incredible to have a turtle for 23yrs & to witness the birth of her little one. I've enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for sharing.

you are so lucky... That is amazing. A baby tortoise like that... You must keep us updated with pictures as it grows!!!

I bought baby turtles a year ago and they are still alive
