1st of all its great to be part of the turtle community, amazing animals!
I got about 30-40 (I'm not sure about the gallons thing) tank, its about 40 high and 50 CM long, about 15CM wide.
I'm planning to fill it up 2/3 water, make around more than half of its size (25-30CM) with watery stuff and the rest with big stones, and UV light (Which I'm gonna buy, its gonna have bubble thingie in the middle of the watery area, some real plants that I'm buying now, its got filter and heater already.
Now I'd like to know something first, my turtle is in a little tank since I bought him (Few days ago) for meanwhile, until the big tank is ready. The water in the little tank arent really in the tempeture it needs, its colder I think. Does it matter if I put him in hotter water or do I need to put him with his own water and heat them slowly with the heater?
I dont want to harm him, they dont sell them in my country |

Post some pictures up when you get the tank all setup! It sounds like it'll be amazing and I'm looking for inspiration for my baby's tank |
