i acquired a baby painted turtle (about the size of a quarter) from a friend who found him by a sidewalk on campus and there is no water around...as far as i know there is no ponds or any body of water close to my campus. one of his eyes looks like it was scratched and it doesnt open, his other eye is closed too. he moves when you touch him though. i have him in a small container of water with a rock....he is just sitting on the rock. should i put a heat light on him? what about vitamin bathes? i have heard of people giving their turtles vitamin bathes....but what does a vitamin bath consist of. i have a container of Reptolife which is a powdered muti-vitamin and mineral formula....so if i dont some of that in warm water and soak the turtle in it, would it help? any advice would be appreciated.....i would love to be able to save the little guy!

Heat light is good. I would reccommend taking him to a vet as he may have a vit deficiency ( excuse the spelling)
