i have a male Eastern Painted Turtle, i have seen him do the "mating dance" quite a bit, but hes never had a prolapse (i dont know if im using the word correctly exactly, but you know what i mean)... hes about 3 years old... is this normal/ok?  _________________ I'm back! Hope I can help...

I am not sure what you are saying.
I do think yout turtle is fine. just because he is doing the dance doesn't mean he has to perform. |

| a prolapse is when their intestine come out of their body its a bad thing to happen not a good thing. Are you talking about his penis coming out of his body to mate? Because at 3 years old he is to young. |
