My parents found this turtle on the middle of the road and we took it in and we can not figure out what kind of turtle it is. It has a long neck and seems to like the water more than land. I do not know much more so hopefully someone will know what species it is.

| my parents found the blandings turtle that i had....it was crossing a road kinda out in the country. as far as i know they dont like much water...they are kinda like a box turtle in that respect...they dont like to go out in deep water and swim. so im guessing they stay more to the land. also if its a blandings turtle they eat fish, worms, lettuce and other vegetable....i would suggest search on google for images and see if you find anything |
