I've heard a lot of different things and I just want to get your opinions on how much/often I should feed my baby RES.

Some have said once a day with 4-5 pellets, some have said every other day with 8-10 pellets, some say twice a day (though I don't recall how much).

Right now I have her eating about 5 pellets once a day, and then once or twice a week I'll give her something like shrimp or tuna instead.

Should I be giving her greens to munch on during the day? I'm just worried about over feed/under feeding her.

Also, what kind of vegetables/plants, fruits, and meats would you reccomend for a baby RES? The only meat she's tried so far are these little shrimps I got from the pet store, but I want her to be eating fresh things too.

Oh and, she should always be fed in the water right? I have a seperate little tuperware container that I feed her in. How big should her feeding container be?

Thanks for any input you guys have! Arrow

You can feed your turtle strawberries, lettuc (not romaine, or spinich) carrots, tuna, feedef fish, crickets on occassion. It helps keep your tank cleaner longer if you feed in seperate container, and keep him in there for about 30 min after done eating. As far as pellets go since he is small you can feed him 4-5 pellets twice a day and gradually move to once a day.

So 4 pellets in the morning, 4 at night? or 4-5 total for both feedings?

How often should I feed her meat and veggies and all that good stuff?

4 in the am and 4 at night will be ok. As far as how often for the others every couple of days you can substitute the pellets with those.
