I got a distressed bath tub cheap and fiberglassed the 2 holes for water outtake. I put it on my lanai (porch) with plastic mattiing on 3 sides so she can get out as well as a corner ramp made of chicken wire covered with the matting for her to sit on, hide under, and have access to the pile of rocks in her elevated fenced adjoining garden.
She's 9" long and very happy to have lots more space to swim in and lots of places to climb out. The Fluval 404 is doing a very good job of keeping the water clear and for some reason she now likes swimming in its current (sort of like a lap pool).
Sorry no pic because I can't attach it directly. |
