Oh mY! I got a new turtle over the weekend, and he is much heavier than my little one, who is 3 inches by two inches wide, and cannot rest on the floating dock I have. I have rearranged my tank setup ... and and put rocks under the floating dock, so that it is stable, and th little one still goes on to sunbathe but my big one doesnt.
Could it be that she is not confortable yet? She is eating romain and green pepper.... but does not want to touch the Reptomin that the little one eats. I am scared that she will never want to go up on the dock...and get infectons and such... please help. |

| how long has it refused to go on? if it's only been a day or two or three.. i don't think you have anything to worry about yet. just wait the whole week. if not you can try giving him a taste of real sunlight for a few hours and then put him back in the tank and see what happens |

I agree, they all act differently, I used to entise my on the dock by showing her food and making her follow it to the dock, but now she goes there any time i put food in there, I think it just takes time to get use to the new enviroment. |
