i am a newbie we got a turtle, painted, from a friend of my daughters they have a pond this spring she was born in the spring. We are trying to get her diet figured out what veggies are safe to feed her. you can email me tbru@gmrc.com Very Happy

romaine lettuce (and only romaine, other lettuces dont have as much nutrition, never ever feed iceburg) chopped broccoli or carrots work as well. you can also buy water plants like hyacynth and water lettuce for them to nibble on. water plants also help with biological filtration of your tank, but might clog your filter if your turtle tears the plant to peices.
