| well im having trouble with my eastern box turtle... it seems he is opening his mouth at any point in time evry once in a while but heck do it about 2 or 3 times right in a row and heck open his mouth all the way and hold it... hes living in a 30 gal rubbermaid with some dirt with little tiny specs of like fertilizer helper or soemthin(i got cheap dirt form lowes) maybe i should get a different 1? umm i have a uva uvb light a 70 - 100 watt light bulb(i think 100) with a water pan and a cardboard house in the corner with the different temps. what exactly am i doin wrg that hes doing this and what disease does he have? RI or just a cold? |

| You can buy calcium sand that will be much better/healthier for your turtle. Do you have heat source for your turtle? That maybe whats going on. |

| i just put that light buld there and it makes everything pretty nice now.. i just added it.. i just got some calcium vitamin thing that u stick to their food and hes been eating this since jsut eysterday so i guess i ahve to watch |
