yesterday, after i gave george his needle in the morning, he was hanging out in the water with his mouth just open. not open just a little, i mean really open, like as much as it would go. i had fed him beforehand, and it was the first time he had eaten in a while and on top of that i injected him with his meds. he stopped eventually, but it was really weird. any comments?

hmm i don't know, could be an effect from the meds. if it happens again it'll be wise to call the vet and check.

no, i dont think so. he was really still and not moving. he looked like he was in shock or something. his neck was out as far as it would go and he looked dead.... but hes not, hes fine. he hasnt done it since, so i think hes okay. but it worried me at first.... only 7 needles left to give him, and hes doing better. eating, playing (on the bottom of the tank) jumping off his dock when i walk into my room (when he was sick he would just stay up there) so i think heck be okay this time. fingers crossed.
