| We have a disabled box turtle and we are trying to figure out what type of box turtle she is. She has a brown shell and has bright orange around her mouth, on her throat and the insides of her front legs. Can anyone id this turtle? |

| well first it depends on what part of the country ur in northeast u have a ox turtle and it sounds like it becasue of the orange on its mouth and legs but go to http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/Care/1caresheets.htm and go down to the bottom to the box turtle and c if it looks like yours. it almost ounds like urs is a female becasue u said it was brownand females arent as colorful as males r. but what state u live in or prt of the country can tell us alot of the turtle. and posting pics also |
