In the last two days, I've noticed something coming out of my little guys tail. Ive read up and found that its prolapses. It happend 3 times yesterday, but I was also cleaning him and taking alot of photos, so I figured it was stress. Tonight, I came into the room where we keep him, and was watcing him swim around and noticed that it was slightly sliding out, staying out for a few moments and going back in... quite a few times. It didnt come out all the way like it did yesterday. But, I'm wondering.. How do I tell if its penile or intesitnal, and should I be worried? What should I do?
Theres a photo of the full decention in the FLickr Album in my sig. if you need to look & maybe figure out if which it is. Thanks. |

if it's getting back alone then that's normal sexual maturity. there aren't any turtles with him right? so they don't try biting it.. that would be nasty _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo

Nope. He's our only turt. I havent seen him do it in the last few days, so Im not too worried about it now.. because it's been an overwhelming response to the fact that its his 'man junk' and thats normal. Phew! |
