| I have noticed something in my tank just recently. ITs kind of a milky looking "Slick" around the floating dock in my tank. DO I need a stronger filter? Is it something I need to worry about? |

| I noticed this two. My tank is new. I read some where that new tanks can have some kind of bacteria that makes it like this and can usually last up to six weeks before it clears up. I just try and clean it out a lot becuase it got so bad I couldn't see the turtles..its not as bad now so I am guessing thats probably what it was...in my case anyways, I don't have it around the dock. |

| What sixe tank do you have and what size filter? Your filter should be 2-3 times bigger than your tank. Say if you have a 20 gal you should have one that pushes 40 gal. |
