oops! My turtle got stuck behind the basking rock so I moved the rock and the rock sliped down and possibly killed the fish. So I guess sonny didn't eat the fish. |

Sorry for the late response my internet wasn't working. false alarm he made it there was a indent in the rock on the bottom so he was in the right spot at the right time. Right now he is alive and healthy so is Sonny.

The fish died of natural causes today so my turtle didn't eat him at least. |

There will always be sacrifices in the name of science.
Have another go, as I'm morbidly curious myself _________________

i have an algea eater. he is about 1 1/2 inches - 2 inches long. the turtles arent much bigger than that. he survived for a while, so i decided, hey why not a snail to help the fish out? and it got its head bitten off..... the algea eater is really fast tho, i think that is what made the difference of life or death. Fred, my bigger turt, has taken a few tries at biting the fish, but hasnt gotten him yet. i think he gave up. i was funny. the fish would sit in the corner of the tank at the bottom, and Fred swam up to it, and poked it, the fish went crazy! swimming up and down and all over. Fred was kind of freaked out and he sort of backed away slowly as if to say "u are crazy! im just going to leave" he was scared! it was hillarious and adorable... so ya, that is my story. _________________ I love my turtles! |
