i looked in the profile and it doesn't seem that we can add any..i think it would be fun if we have avatars under our names in posts

I meant to have this option turned on. There was so much when upgrading to this board. Avatars are now allowed. Please No offensive avatars!

No, I got mine from a webpage that I visited, I had to reduce it to the size that would be accepted, it had to be 99 pixels X 99 pixels, it can't be bigger than 6 KB either. If you have a picture that you want to reduce you can use the windows paint program,

1. click on open--choose picture
2. click on "image"
3. click on "stretch and skew"
There will be two sections one for "stretch" and one for "skew" I use only the stretch one.

4. in the first square put a number 75
5. in the second square put a number 75
Click on OK and your picture will be reduced by that number,

For stretching you will have to put a number greater than 100, but it messes up the picture.

To check you can either save it without closing and go back to where you have the picture stored and check how big it is, another way is to click on
"image" then click on "attributes..." and the pop-up will tell you how big it is.

I try to make one with my turtle but i keep shrinking and shrinking it when i couldn;t see the image no more it was only 7 KB grrrrrrrrrrr can yall help me?

You can link your avatar to an online album,

When you are there, you can click on the edit button and resize your images by either 25-50-75 %. The thing I like about resizing on photobucket is that I can reduce my gif images without messigh them up, if you tried that on your computer it would mess up the gif and all you would see is the first picture. Very Happy

ok sunny here you go
1) go to ur profile
2)go down to the bottom of the page
3)click on search
4)it will bring up the pictures in ur 'my pictures' folder
5)click on the one that you want
6)the click upload, add, or what ever it says
