Well I read that my Softbacks actually eat numerous types of birds, so I've been tempted to give them some chicken or something to munch on. But I'm a little weary as they're still quite young and I dunno whether it's reccomended or not. Is it OK to feed baby turtles meat? As I've been feeding them these generic turtle feed pelllets I got rom the pet shop they came from.
By the way, it is preffered to actally feed them cooked stuff right? As I'd feel a little weird feeding them anything raw ¬_¬
Also heard they eat fish too. Tasty _________________

Yep,it is okay to give baby turts a little bit of meat. However my turtle is an 8 yr old adult and he is a rescue and I have no experiance with babies.
I would cook it tho.I dunno how I feel about feeding raw either. But mine loved the cooked stuff.I do sometimes feed him canned tuna (the low sodium kind) and he loves that too and sardines...yucky.And he loves live goldfish and minnows sometimes too. _________________ My Babies:
