Hello everyone. I have had my turtle for about 6 months now, and up until three weeks ago she had been eating fine. Then all of the sudden she stopped eating. She no longer eats the shrimp or the food sticks she would before. She also sleeps all day long on her basking rock. She no longer swims or does anything else for that matter, when I place her in the water to wet her body she just floats there or goes to the bottom. She then goes to her rock again. Another thing I noticed when I place her in the water is that her skin is shedding. Can anyone please tell me if this is at all normal?

You should probablly take her to the vet for a check up. Skin shedding is normal. When she floats does she float or swim leaning to one side? I really think she need to be seen by vet asap. Sounds like Resp. Infection. Ecspecially if she is leaning to one side.
