Hi, my name is Teresa, 45 years old and i'm from Portugal.
My son and his girlfriend gave me a turtle for my birthday but the truth is i don't understand much of these lovelly animals.
Could you please help me? I'm sending some pictures and any information will be welcome.

Im not sure of what type, but definetley a semi-aquatic turtle. Here is a link on housing and feeding.

ur little cutie is definately a mississippi map Smile

nice turtles for a beginning and if u're lucky enough to have a male, it wouldn't need so much space Smile
