| Something came out of my turtles butt and it was not excrement. It looked like a black suction cup thing. It came out and then went back in. I have absolutly no idea if this is normal or not. I have had my red eared slider for about two years and this (as far as I know ) has never happend before. somebody please explain... |

U can call this as Prolapses.
u must be careful not to place other turtles cos they might bite it n cause serious damage.
Occasional Prolapses is nothing to worry.
But if prolapses happen too frequent n cause too much distress to u n yr turtle, u might consider to bring yr turtle to vet for purse string suture.
When prolapses happen, make sure the exposed part go back immediately, if not, ensure that the exposed part is keep moist.
