Hi guys i was thinking the other day about making a beach for my turtles out of the water and was wondering if it is safe to use perspex as a base. also can you use aquatic sand in a turtle setup at the moment they have gravel at the bottom of there tank and from what i've read here that isn't good. any ideas greatly recieved. Thanks |

sand isn't really recommended either cz it could block the filter and give u a hard time when cleaning if u like, i saw pix where ppl had like a wallpaper (bottom paper ) of gravel images on the bottom of the tank.
i don't know about perspex though.. _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo
