Hi guys i was thinking the other day about making a beach for my turtles out of the water and was wondering if it is safe to use perspex as a base. also can you use aquatic sand in a turtle setup at the moment they have gravel at the bottom of there tank and from what i've read here that isn't good. any ideas greatly recieved. sand isn't really recommended either cz it could block the filter and give u a hard time when cleaning Rolling Eyes

if u like, i saw pix where ppl had like a wallpaper (bottom paper Neutral

) of gravel images on the bottom of the tank.

i don't know about perspex though.. Smile

Im not to worried about the cleaning aspect i was more worried about weather or not it was a hazard to my turtles Evil or Very Mad
