Hi!
I'm new to this forum and am very impressed by all the info I've seen so far.
So here's my real test.
Answer the question no one else has been able to answer.

What kind of turtle do my wife and I have?
It's roughly 11 years old---maybe more.
She's been chewed on by a dog in the past (dog is since gone) so please try to ignore the marks on the front and rear of her shell.
GREAT turtle. Any help identifying will be appreciated!

Is you r pic uploaded to a host like photobucket. That may help and also make sure you click on the disable BBCdoe thingy below.

I wouldn't think it is a mud turtle as it's shell is fairly flat. At first glance I thought it might be a Blandings but I am not so sure about that either. What ever it is, it sure is a real cutie.

In case anyone was curious...I got a reply from one of the 10 or so people/places I posted the question of what type of turtle myrtle is...
She's a Yellow Asian Pond Turtle.
Found a site all about them and she's identical!
