Before I broke out of my snow prison, I did alot of writing..This poem was written by me to my kids...It came from the heart and the reality is...drugs can take you down a road that can never be traveled again..thank you for reading everyone..

I am gone, and ready

Good-bye my loves,
Let me see your smiles,

your tears do not fall anymore,

For time has taken its toll.

I am no longer a memory,

Just a whisper in the wind.

Go on to good things,

Things that make you shine,

with happiness,

No saddness, that I pray,

I am gone from your memories,

But you will always be in my heart

I love you both....

Wow, that's beautiful, jacey! I can totally relate as I am a mother too, and have seen many a friend over the years go through their own prisons. I've never had a talent for words and I envy you and stray for being so eloquent with them! Razz
