Yesterday a group of GIS girls and I walked a mile down the beach where a man had told us a sea turtle came up on shore to lay her eggs. We watched her at a distance so no to disturb her, but then as we watched, these two men ran up. They too FOUR REALLY REALLY REALLY bright FLASH pictures of her, and she didnt lay any eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a shame such a wonderful experiance had to turn sour. That is why they should ban people from those areas. Even though some of you were responsible enough to keep your distance it only takes one jerk to ruin things. In your case there was 4 of them. I hope the turtle came back later or went down the beach. Sea turtles are rare and beautiful creatures.

ouch, poor turt!! she mightve never returned..unfortunatley that couldve been worse and they couldve stole her eggs to seell as food Evil or Very Mad

such a sin!!!!
