This is probably old news to many on here since I've known about it for about 4 months, but check out this childrens book if you get a chance......................a beautiful story indeed!!

ok...so after that bad sunami two years ago there was a hippo that had too be relocated to save its life so they ended up placing it with a tortoise and these two became best of friends. Everyone is in awe because they thought it was odd for a warm and cold blooded pair actually enjoy each others company. the tortoise will place it head into the hippos mouth ...now thats trust!!! Anyway..check it out and it would amek a great gift for a child.

The story is true.......very true! I saw it with my own eyes. They did a special on MSN news.

I read a couple different books on Owen and Mzee in the store. a)cutest thing ever. b)wow. It's a really interesting story.

They are worried that the hippo, when it becomes full-grown, will inadvertantly start to hurt the tortoise. Hopefully they can remain together!
