I have a 10 year old Leopard gecko who lost his tail(before i got him).
His tail never grew back but was always pretty chubby.Recently his tail seems to be getting thinner...
Also,Gordon seems to be a little more clumsy in the past few months...he flips over if he gets freaked out or sometimes crashes into things.
He is eating and pooping normally.
Is this just old age or is he sick?
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Leopard geckos...
any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you |

Hmmm... Leopard Geckos can live up to 30 years in captivity, so it shouldn't be his age.
When their tails start to thin out, it usually means there is a health problem. However, you said he is eating well, so that baffles me. I would get him to a vet just to make sure he is okay. _________________ -= Shannon =- |

You mentioned he is eating well, hmmm...because I know that if they are not getting enough food, thier tails will get thinner,as they store fat in their tails.Maybe you should check with a herp vet! _________________ My Babies:
