| Quote: | | Recommended diet is 60 % animal matter and 40% plant material. Earth worms, red worms, wax worms, crickets, grass hoppers, slugs are good things to feed. Safe plant matter for box turtles are grated carrots, grated squash, blackberries, blueberries, dandelion leaves, kale, pumpkin, strawberries, mulberries, tomato, zucchini, romaine lettuce, and endive. Vitamin supplements containing minerals and calcium are also recommended. |

| and since its a wild box turtle is it beter to have him outside? and hes 5 1/2 inches so is he sexually mature? and hes only 2 inches high and he doesnt look very big. but i measured him and he look like hes only a couple years old but theres not much space on his scutes for growth. so will he get any bigger like taller and wider or will he just stay smaller? |
