| I was under the impression that Komodo's are endangered? Could be wrong. |

Guys, guys he's lying. If you click on the link I pasted you will find where he got the picture.
Komoto's are endangered and they also are huge and the saliva has 13 known bacterias to make you very very ill (read death). That is what helps them in killing their prey. As a matter of fact most zoo's won't keep them as they are so very difficult. First off they eat goats or pigs and don't do well with an alternative diet like tigers or lions. Second of all the enclosure is very difficult. The London zoo had one climb up a wall, fall and die of internal injuries. Definatly not something you could keep in a home situation. Oh, and I forgot to mention they have been known to eat humans as well. _________________

actually deesy, if you really wanted to know the truth you would know that that website stole that photo from my online collection and i dont keep him at my private residence. he is on loan to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. i own/sponsor him, aka. pay for all his care needs! fyi, the zoo has been discussing changing the exhibit even though it was planned to be an permanent exhibit. i have been looking into auctioning him off and donating the proceeds to a reptile rescue/komodo breeding program. _________________ JJock's Turtles: 2 Regular Alligator Snappers, 3 Hypo Alligator Snappers, 2 Common Snappers, & About 100 Scared S***less Comet Goldfish! |

I'll have to check with my sister before I comment on that one.
Speaking of my little sissy, jjock do you know any good pond builders in that area? My sister and her hubby are looking to totally remod their house and while they are at it they want to put in a killer pond and waterfall. She is having trouble finding a good contractor that does ponds. She wants someone with experience. _________________

my brother owns a construction company in mill creek. i can ask him. he has a lot of sub-contractor contacts in the greater seattle area. i can prolly just tell you that your best bet would to be either get some mexican or russian day laborers to follow the pond design/blueprint to build it if you dont want to spend a small fortune by having some specialist build it. _________________ JJock's Turtles: 2 Regular Alligator Snappers, 3 Hypo Alligator Snappers, 2 Common Snappers, & About 100 Scared S***less Comet Goldfish! |

Her and her hubby are computer geeks and definalty don't want to mess with laborers themselves. They just want someone reliable to do the job no matter the cost. They just bought the house last month and they want to make some changes. _________________

I am a little confused... he is living in a zoo now? Are you planning on auctioning his expenses? I can't imagine someone actually keeping him in their house. _________________ -= Shannon =- |
