the last couple of days were incredible. i broke a record now, 48 continuous hours of not sleeping. finally, the sirens went on and she "popped out" Laughing

May 16th,2006 @ 08:38 am, baby Taleen saw the world. isn't she precious? oh btw, she's my first neice

Oh my gosh, she is so cute!! My son was born in May... the 18th, and his b-day party is this weekend (he's turning 7).... wow! I so remember him being that little and wish that I had another one!! That pic makes my baby hunger even worse!!

Thanks, Dixieee! He woke me up this morning (first time ever!!) To tell me it's his b-day today!! I'm such a proud momma, he told me he wants a gun! a .22, I told him he already has a couple of those! Mostly pellet guns! Asked him if he didn't want a bow and arrows instead... think I'll try to get him into archery. We don't hunt, cause mom doesn't want to kill anything... just target practice... and we love to take the shotguns out to shoot at the clay pigeons, mostly Al likes to run the thrower! Wink

It's so awesome as they get older and start enjoying the things we enjoy! He has a dirtbike that he loves to ride, a dart blowgun, we go shooting in the summers, and we both love to play soccer. I got him into the AYSO here in town and they smoked the team they played last weekend.... Anything to keep him off the video games (he turns into a junkie!!) Wink

But here's my point, enjoy that little one while she's still little, cause you're right, days pass by so fast!! Razz

So does your son race or just ride that bike? We had one that did motocross for a # of years. My Hubby rode motox back in the 70's, so he fully supports it. One hint, no matter how much they yell that the chest protector is in the way don't let them take it off. I let our boy remove it for a race and he hit the whoops bad and ended up with the handlebars in the chest. Ended up with an abmulance ride over it. Sad

He doesn't race just yet, this summer he's starting to think he wants to so next summer he'll have to get signed up! Mostly he's been riding when we go camping, he loves it! I swear the whoops are my favorite part of the motox tracks!! & I agree whole-heartedly about the chest protector! I'm so sorry about your ambulance ride, those are never fun and they're always expensive!

Boy, you're not kidding!! I love to spend time with my son though, while he will still let me, so it's easy for me to supervise all the activities... the racing is what I worry about most... I can see me out there on the track with a mega-phone, hollering for the other kids to stay clear of mine!! Ya, like that would work!! Al would hate me!! Laughing

lol yes but since ur boy likes to spend time with u it's different, that's sweet Smile

the ones who get on my nerves are those boys who are 9-15 and are not sure if they are adult or kids..difficult age but even for girls it's the same
