There are two little white spots on my turtle,were I took off the piece scute that was going to come off. I stop doing that after somone told lit them come off by themselfs. Any idea why those spot are there. _________________ Joshua. I love God's Creations |

they might be from the shedding. don't mess with them and if u can post pix it'll help a lot _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo

I don't know what these white spots are, but a lot of people have posted about them. I have been looking everywhere for information on them to find out what it is, because in almost every case the turtle has died. I hope that is not what your turtle has.

Hmmm... are the spots hard? If they are, it may be a fungus. However, if the spots are soft, it may be shell rot. But keep an eye on it. Sometimes when when shedding, air can form under the scutes, making it look whitesh. _________________ -= Shannon =- |
