White spot on turtle back?

There are two little white spots on my turtle,were I took off the piece scute that was going to come off. I stop doing that after somone told lit them come off by themselfs. Any idea why those spot are there.

they might be from the shedding. don't mess with them and if u can post pix it'll help a lot

I don't know what these white spots are, but a lot of people have posted about them. I have been looking everywhere for information on them to find out what it is, because in almost every case the turtle has died. I hope that is not what your turtle has.

I agree, if you can, post pictures.

You'll see the white spot.It's close to the middle of the shell.

Hmmm... are the spots hard? If they are, it may be a fungus. However, if the spots are soft, it may be shell rot. But keep an eye on it. Sometimes when when shedding, air can form under the scutes, making it look whitesh.
