| well there u can get baby ones or some bigger ones but at pet stores they cannot sell them to u if they are under 4 inches. but on the internet u can get them as babys or if u live near or in NY NY u can buy them there in china town but they do not keep them in very suitable housing. but u may be able to find a pet store with 4 inches or more size res if u want that size. |

She's right, it's the "4 Inch Rule". It's illegal, but not impossible. _________________ -= Shannon =- |

welcome to the board
b4 getting the turtle(s), did u check with urself first if u have the time, money, and caring to give them? remember that they needs a good setup to live a healthy long life which needs some time for cleaning and money for setting it up. i wouldn't worry about the caring part unless ur the type of people getting them as cute little green adorable babies and as they grow bigger u'll be upset of the change..
i'm not scaring u, i'm just putting u in the scene cz many turtle buyers were ignorant about those things (including me) so don't worry and good luck with ur new guys _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo
so now i have a female RES, Green, and a cute stupid male YBS, Mint
5/4/2006 RIP Lemon, u were my first rescue and i'm so proud of u. will never 4get u |

RES turtles are the most common by far, so if a pet store were to sell turtles, I imagine it would be them.
Two or three, wow, that's a lot! You really love your turtles, hehe. They will need a LOT of space for all those big guys!
Good luck! _________________ -= Shannon =- |

OMG, they have siamese turtles... that's so sad. Turtles like that should not be available to the public, they should only be offered to experienced owners who have the time and knowledge to care for the poor little things. _________________ -= Shannon =- |

They only say that so they have an excuse to get past the 4 inch rule. All companies do that. It's just a way to sell baby turtles. They know that their customers are not buying them for science of education. _________________ -= Shannon =- |
