i had a baby box turtle in my back yard in a glass aquarim with a mesh top on it the hard type mesh top well today i go out side and he's dead and the whole body swell up i mean everything it was so bad that his shell was coming apart, how does this happen i think it was a pider that can be the only thing that can do that and fit it to the cage it had to be something small!!! i appericate any feed back please.

Glass aquariums are death traps outside. They magnify the suns rays and create an oven. Basically it cooked your turtle. Sorry to be so graphic but there is no nice way to put that.

i'm so sorry for ur loss. yes outdoor glass setups are not a good idea at all, they heat up so fast..i'm sorry for the little guy
