| I have 3 res kids in this tank and all of a sudden these things started to show up and multiply, the look like very small white worms that stay on the bottem ar sides of the glass. I work for a a vet who sees turtles and we tested them and turns out they are not worms. Ive tryed sulfer blocks and taking everything out and cleaning it . The went away for a few weeks and just came back since last night ! What are they and how do I make them leave my babies alone??? |

I have no idea what these white things are but here's my advice:
Take everything out again... clean it again... boil it if you can...
You might want to replace what you can't boil.
Whatever they are, they must be laying eggs somewhere. |

You have what is called white worms. They live is the water supply in many municipal water districts. There really is no way of getting rid of them other than getting fish that eat them and then the turtles eat the fish. They don't harm the turtles as they are not a parasite. _________________
